The Glaucus macaw lives in the rain forests of south America and has a diet of
snails, fruit, and insects. Like many macaws the Glaucus macaw has a bone
inside its toungue which is useful for tapping inside fruits. As you can see in the photo below, this bird is mostly blue with a yellow ring around each eye and yellow feathers by its beak. A Glaukus macaw has a very strong black beak which it would use for cracking open tough fruit.

I didn't know there was a bird with a bone inside it's tongue! This is pretty cool ... if I were a MaCaw I think I would concentrate on finding fruit and forget about eating snails and insects - fruit is way tastier!
